Angels Camp Boosters The Angels Camp Boosters Club was formed in 1925. It was comprised of businessmen from Angels Camp and Altaville. They ‘boosted’ the economy of Angels Camp and the surrounding communities. Three years after formation, the boosters held a celebration for the first paving of Main Street. The theme was based on the Mark Twain story, “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.” Angels Camp Business Association Promotes and facilitates business and community development, growth and goodwill through an annual physical and community improvement project, numerous annual community events, and a college scholarship fund for local graduates. Calaveras Big Trees Association Non-profit educational association dedicated to the interpretation of human and natural history at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, in cooperation with the California State Park system. Profits from Visitor Center sales fund interpretive programs. Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce A non-profit membership supported organization composed of businesses, professionals and individuals working to strengthen the business community. The Chamber serves as a resource center for business and general information about Calaveras County. Calaveras Winegrape Alliance - Ext. 25 The Calaveras Wine Industry is alive and flourishing! CWA events include President's Weekend, Calaveras Grape & Gourmet, Passport Weekend, Grape Stomp and Holiday Open House. Wineries located in Murphys area and Mokelumne Hill. Copperopolis Area Business Association CABA is comprised of business owners and community members committed to increasing and encouraging business development, growth and tourism in the Copperopolis area. Greater Arnold Business Association Stretching 47 miles along Highway 4 from Forest Meadows to Bear Valley and Ebbetts Pass, the greater Arnold area is teaming with abundant recreation and natural bounties. Call for a free color guide. Murphys Business Association Enjoy our charming wine district, gold rush town and many special events such as Irish Day and Christmas Open House. Ask for copies of our visitors brochure, business directory and walking tour! Murphys Community Club The Murphys Community Club is a non-profit organization whose charter is to maintain and enhance Murphys charming and historic Community Park located on Algiers Street in downtown Murphys. The Park is the scene of many community events and is available for rent for a wide variety of special events. For rental information and availability, please call 728-8381. Come have a fun time in our fabulous Community Park! Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau Gold Rush-era attractions, State Capitol tours and outdoor adventures. Ask about your free Sacramento Gold Card - receive VIP offers such as discount admissions to museums, free appetizers at selected restaurants and shopping coupons. San Andreas Merchants Association SAM events include: June-Kites Over Calaveras, December-Victorian Christmas to Remember, Summer-Farmer's Market, October-Halloween Carnival, Miss Kitty Days. Call for exact dates. "It pays to shop in San Andreas!" Society for the Preservation of West Calaveras History Formed in 2006 as a non-profit association to celebrate that history in an effective manner. SPWCH obtains, preserves and restores historic items and disseminates knowledge of the area's history to the general public. The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association (EPSBA) EPSBA is dedicated to preserving, enhancing and promoting the unique resources of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway, a 61 mile stretch of Highways 4 and 89 from Arnold to Markleeville. Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau The area has the hisotric towns of Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and Groveland. It features Columbia and Railtown 1897 State Historic Parks, Dodge Ridge Wintersports (Hwy 108) and Yosemite's northern gateway. Valley Springs Area Business Association To promote business and community spirit in Valley Springs and surrounding areas. Join us for the annual Christmas Parade and Craft Faire the first Saturday in December. Wallace/Burson Association Nonprofit community organization, founded in 1999, dedicated to the betterment of the two towns that are the gateway to Calaveras County's tri-dam area. The WBA sponsors numerous events, including the Annual Burson Founders Day. |
